- Students will be divided into
groups of four. Each student in the group will be researching a
different topic about the rainforests. The four topics are
Cultures and Customs, Geography and Climate, Animal and Plant
Life, and Environmental Issues.
- Use the Internet links provided
in the Resource
section of this web quest. Print out the worksheets for your
topic.
- Using the Internet links, gather
and record information and record on the worksheets.
- Students will rejoin with the
other researchers in their group to share information. Each
researcher must complete their worksheets.
- Each group will choose (by
consenses) a method of displaying and presenting their project.
Some of the different methods of display are posterboard, diorama,
Hyperstudio, or PowerPoint.
- Each group will have 3 class
periods plus 1 week of own time to finish display and
presentation.
- Each group will present their
project to the class.
