 Students will be divided into groups of four. Each student will be researching a different topic about the rainforests. Using the links provided in the Resource section of this web quest, you will gather information for your topic. You will then make a group presentation and a display for the science lab. Each group needs to be able to answer the following questions:

Cultures and Customs

2. Name some of the indigenous people of the rainforests?
3. What are some of their customs?

1. What is a rainforest? Name the four layers of a rainforest.

Animal and Plant Life

1. What kinds of animals can you find in the rainforests?
2. What kinds of plants can you find in the rainforests?
3. What products do we get from the rainforests?

Environmental Issues

1. What are the problems affecting the rainforests today?
